2009 Sauternes En Primeur Mixed Cases

Friday, May 28th, 2010

We are delighted that the 2009 Sauternes En Primeur mixed cases are proving so popular.  In this video we retaste most of the wines to help you select what wines to put in your mixed case if you haven’t already done so.  We are expecting Climens and d’Yquem to release very soon and we know that many of you are waiting for these releases before finalising your case selections – we hope this helps!  Mixed cases can be ordered by clicking on this link –

PS The wines are just getting better and better!  It is amazing what just a few extra months in barrel can do for truly rich wines like these, adding complexity and helping develop their structure. Bill Blatch

Introducing our mixed cases of 2009 Sauternes En Primeur. In our recent survey the majority of you wanted to buy Sauternes in mixed cases – so here they are!

Rather hopefully you also wanted to be able to choose which wines to put in your mixed case.  Well, as far as we are aware, no one else offers this service but we couldn’t see why not so you can do this too as long as you order in full case quantities (i.e. 12 x 75cl bottles or 24 x 37.5cl half bottles).

Full (unmixed) cases of all the wines can still be ordered via this link:

We only have limited quantities of some wines left so to ensure you get exactly what you want don’t delay, order today!  As Neal Martin said:

So my advice to those who have just completed their 2009 shopping list: just add a case of Sauternes, especially if you have never done so before. Never has there been such a consistent vintage and nothing brightens up or completes a cellar like Sauternes.

Now you can make that case of 2009 Sauternes a mixed case and, in a vintage of such quality, we can promise that none of the wines you select will disappoint.  Bill Blatch
