Domaine de l’Alliance 2009 En Primeur Sauternes

Domaine De L'Alliance 2009 En Primeur Sauternes

Domaine de l’Alliance – AC Sauternes

Bill Blatch: Daniel Alibrand, for only his 4th vintage at this tiny Fargues estate, has produced a density and pure botrytis-induced complexity that rival with the First Growths. Very rich yet very fine.

Wine Advocate – 92-94 Points:  This (as yet) undiscovered gem is sourced from old vines around Fargues.  It is blessed with a fragrant, lifted nose of pineapple, apple-blossom, rosewater and yellow flowers all with exceptionally fine definition. The palate has a vibrant entry that immediately grabs your attention: good acidity and balance. Fresh vibrant fruit with great clartiy towards the lime leaf, lemon zest and honey tinged finish. This is so very pretty and caressing. Delectable.

Domaine de l’Alliance only prices are £ per case of 6 x 50cl bottles In Bond UK. Wines are currently in barrel and will be bottled and shipped from 2012 after which either in bond storage, in bond delivery or duty paid delivery (including VAT) charges will be invoiced at 2012 rates.
