Chateau Suduiraut 2003

Chateau Suduiraut – First Growth Sauternes

Bill Blatch: Well, this is certainly an unusually brash-styled, roasted kind of Suduiraut, but I find it really works: even that slightly burnt flavour comes through with Suduiraut elegance. This is a big round globular wine but has running through it the magic Suduiraut touch. I put it up there with the 08 and not far off the 01, and have you seen what kind of money is being asked for those?
