Chateau Nairac 2003

Chateau Nairac – Second Growth Barsac

Bill Blatch: This wine behaves exactly like the Fargues: the roasted, rich character of the vintage and its amazing sweetness are somehow counterbalanced by a beautiful streak of something fresh, almost a quince and passion fruit flavour which, together with the unusual (for the vintage) acidity, give the wine a refreshing if very rich mouth feel. I love to drink this wine now, but owner Nicolas Tari says it will age for many years
