Chateau Latrezotte 2009 En Primeur Sauternes
Chateau Latrezotte – AC Barsac
Bill Blatch: A recent addition to the Bernard Magrez stable, and sub-titled “Le Sauternes de ma Fille”, this Barsac is finely-tuned in spite of its richness and softness, and a fragrant barrel tone also helps to offset the considerable density.
Wine Advocate – 88-90 Points: Very primal and almost Chardonnay-like on the nose. Very oaky at the moment, it is difficult to peer through. The palate is medium-bodied with fine balance, the minerality coming through with aeration with touches of pineapple, citrus lemon and a good level of botrytis. Elegant, but it just dials everything down on the finish.
